The Journey Behind iSky Telecomm
iSky Telecomm Enterprises was built on real field experience, relentless resilience, and a mission to serve American communities with integrity.
Its founder, Shiri Prasad, entered the Lifeline industry in 2021 after witnessing firsthand how essential connectivity had become during the pandemic.
From 2020 – 2021 – before entering the industry – our founder was buying and selling used computer and home networking devices during the pandemic to help families get connected for online school and work-from-home. He built a grassroots operation from a small apartment, moving equipment through Facebook Marketplace to ensure households had the technology they needed. That same entrepreneurial instinct is what later shaped iSky’s foundation.
When Shiri arrived in Las Vegas in 2021 and stepped into the Lifeline program, he learned the business from the ground up. He spent long days distributing thousands of phones in extreme heat — meeting seniors, families, unemployed workers, veterans, and individuals who relied on government programs simply to stay connected.
This hands-on experience shaped his understanding of the people the industry serves. He became an agent, then a manager – building large teams in Vegas, Phoenix, and California. He built a team of hardworking agents who just wanted honest leadership and real opportunity. Through the struggle came the vision: build a Lifeline company that does things the right way – professionally, ethically, and with dignity. iSky Telecomm became the vehicle for that vision: a company designed to serve communities, create opportunity, and operate with transparency and discipline.
Today, iSky’s mission is simple:

2018-New Zealand & Fiji Islands
Time abroad strengthened a service-driven mindset rooted in resilience, community values, and a global perspective on poverty, access, and opportunity.
2019-California Field Experience
Travelling up across California revealed the communication barriers underserved communities face – shaping a deeper understanding of the digital divide.
2020-The Pandemic Shift
Driving through seven states during the shutdown highlighted how critical connectivity becomes when everything else stops. This period built the foundation for a future in Lifeline and community-based service.
2021-Las Vegas Industry Reality Check
Exposure to unstructured, non compliant parking-lot operations made one truth clear: the Lifeline industry needed higher standards and real accountability. iSky Telecomm Enterprises was founded in Las Vegas, NV with a commitment to raise that bar.
2023-The Standard Rises
After years of hands-on experience, a clear mission emerged: build a Lifeline distribution model grounded in compliance, transparency, and operational discipline. iSky managed thriving enrollment team across Nevada, Arizona and California – providing that high standards create real community impact.
From Agent to Owner
Leadership gained firsthand experience in every role – agent, trainer, manager, and operator – creating enrollment teams capable of 50-70 weekly activations through structure, accountability, and fair compensation. In 2024, iSky Telecomm Enterprises relocated to Sacramento, CA to expand statewide.
From 2025-iSky Telecomm Enterprises Launch
Operations expanded to Alameda, CA – now the headquarters for a company build to scale. iSky Telecomm was designed from day one to set a higher standard: structured operations, ethical practices, and reliable services delivery for every customer and every agent.

Director of Marketing & Strategic Growth – Shiri Prasad
Shiri overseas statewide marketing, contractor development, and strategic field operations for iSky Telecomm Enterprises. He leads the recruitment, onboarding, and performance structure for managers and agents across California – ensuring consistent service, strong compliance, and scalable growth.
Focused on disciplined execution and leadership development, Shiri works closely with field teams to uphold high standards and drive measurable results across all Lifeline and ACP initiatives.
Operations Manager – Alissa Peterson
Oversees statewide operations, partnerships, and compliance accuracy — ensuring every initiative remains aligned, structured, and executed with precision.
Account Manager – Michael Colider
Manages partner and client relationships, ensuring each carrier, enrollment center, and field team receives timely communication and personalized support.
Customer Support Supervisor – Shannon McGregor
Leads our frontline service division, ensuring every customer inquiry is handled with professionalism, urgency, and care.
