Founder Background & Values

The company’s education-first approach and emphasis on responsible use of public benefits are shaped buy it’s founder’s background in public service, humanitarian organizations, and information technology.

From an early age, the founder was exposed to community service through faith-based and humanitarian efforts. Growing up in Fiji, community support through organizations such as the Salvation Army was part of daily life. During school years, participation in Red Cross activities and later involved with the Rotary and the Apex Clubs reinforced the importance of civic responsibility and ethical leadership.

These early experiences established a practical understanding that public systems exist to support individuals and communities when they are used responsibly and with accountability.

Prior to immigrating to the United States in 1998 through the Green Card lottery, the founder spent time in New Zealand, where a younger sibling pursed higher education in Information Technology through a government scholarship. Exposure to public support education systems further reinforced the value of long-term investment in infrastructure, skills development, and connectivity.

After relocating to the United States, the founder continued formal education in Information Technology. Professional employers supported his development by covering educational costs, supplemented by educational grands awarded based on eligibility and performance. These opportunities were viewed as investments tied to accountability, outcomes, and contributions – not as entitlements.

This combination of public service exposure, public and private investment, and technical education informs the company’s operating philosophy today.

Experience in Public Benefits Initiatives

In addition to early exposure to public service and technology education, the founder has participated in large-scale public benefits initiatives within the United States, including projects supporting vulnerable populations.

In 2014, the founder led a multi-month fundraising initiative in Sacramento, California, in collaboration with nonprofit leadership supporting American Homeless Veterans. The project involved coordination with local businesses, nonprofit organizations, and community stakeholders, culminating in a large public event hosted at a professional baseball stadium.

The initiative exceeded its fundraising objective, raising over $500.000 to support veteran housing projects in the Sacramento region. Attendance targets were surpassed, and all proceeds were directed towards housing development and support services.

Although compensation was offered for project management and execution, the founder declined payment in order to ensure that all funds raised were applied directly to the stated public mission. This decision reflected a long-standing operating principle: when managing public-interest initiatives, priority is placed on mission completion, financial integrity, and long term outcomes over personal or short-term gain.

This experience further informs the company’s approach today – emphasizing accountability, stewardship of public and donor resources, and disciplined execution of programs designed to serves communities at scale.

The company approaches programs such as Lifeline not as a giveaway, but as critical national infrastructure – funded by taxpayers and supported by private industry – designed to keep individual connected to employment, healthcare, education, emergency services, and economy participation.

Accordingly, the company prioritizes:

  • Education before enrollment
  • Responsible and compliant use of public benefits
  • Long-term service continuity
  • Household compliance and trasparency
  • Respect for taxpayers and program sustainability

This framework ensures that public resources are used as intended, protects program integrity, and helps maintain connectivity across communities.
